Jade bodies are straight up and down with a narrow pelvis and hips that do not curve outwards; the waistline is not accentuated. Women with this body shape are likely to have an apple shape as weight gain occurs in the upper body and stomach. Jade body types are prone to developing Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, or PCOS. It is important to note that women with this shape do not accumulate much fat on the hips and thighs.
