Bai Zhu may be used in cases of loss of appetite, abdomincal distention, bloating, diarrhea, palpitations, fatigue, edema, excessive sweats, and miscarriage. Atractylodes may also be used in soups or congee (rice porridge) to help regulate energy circulation.
